Foster Update - * Sweeter than sweet! *Loves being around people and is very affectionate and loves being petted and cuddled *Loves plushies and will carry one around everywhere; it’s so dang cute! *She does not need to be crated and enjoys the run of the house *Knows to do her business outside but I don’t know if she would alert as I always keep door to the outside open *Has not learned the doggie door yet as she is wearing a donut/cone due to spay *She has experienced food insecurity and she is extremely thin and needs to put on 10-15 pounds. She is currently around 56 pounds. *She is very food motivated *Knows some basic commands *Will counter surf if given the opportunity *Very active for an 8 year old, but she does settle fairly easily *Has started alert barking *Gets along with other dogs. No information about cats The two words that come to mind in describing Daisy are charming and delightful! She has a very sweet disposition and seems to be happy the majority of the time. I think she would be fine in a home with or without another dog. She definitely would do best in a home where people are home more than not, and will patiently work with her to be the bestest girl. When she puts on some pounds she will be drop dead gorgeous. The “white mask” around her little face adds to her charm! She has some osteoarthritis in her hind legs. I think this will improve with regular exercise and nutrition to build up muscle mass. She is currently on Carprofen. Introduction - Daisy is a seasoned 3-time mama and came in with one of her adult puppies Dakota. She is now ready to retire and enjoy the good life. Daisy is friendly to strangers, knows her basic commands, housetrained and is dog friendly. She is underweight and will be enjoying nutritious meals now, getting a spa treatment and spay surgery – she will be available after she heals. Stay tuned for more details.
