Duke lived his entire life with his loving family but a change of circumstance resulted in him needing a new home. They researched rescues and contacted us for assistance knowing we would give him the very best care. He is absolutely adorable, loves other dogs big and small, is good on leash and never turns down ball play. Duke is a fun loving lab and you may have noticed that he can’t take a bad picture! Duke has been diagnosed with old cruciate ligament tears. Medication has provided some relief but the orthopedist determined his best opportunity for a pain free life requires surgery on both back legs. So big, handsome, lovable Duke will be on medical hold until he has recovered from two surgeries and is ready for his next adventures.
