Introduction - Derby joins Labrador Rescuers by way of a local shelter. Hard to believe this stunning, sweet boy was not adopted. Derby is dog friendly, loves belly rubs, gives sweet kisses when asked, rides great in a car, takes treats softly, knows sit, not bad on leash. He still has some puppy playfulness to him. He make pop up on you when excited. Little ones need to watched until he is fully trained. He can and will knock them down. He is treat motivated. Derby takes treats very gently. We are not sure if he is a purebred or mix. He is still growing so it's hard to tell. We are listing him as mix to error on that side. Derby is in the weight gain program. All you can eat treat fest. He is skinny and needs to gain weight. Now that he has settled into his foster home that should not be long. Derby was just neutered and will need time to recover.
