Introduction - Benny joins Labrador Rescuers by way of a local shelter. It is hard to believe this sweet boy was in the shelter over a week and no one adopted him. A Volunteer brought her dog to shelter to meet Benny. Benny was well behaved. He shared treats, sniffs and followed her dog around the play yard. When exiting the shelter, Benny was happy to get in the car and was a good boy. No issues in the car at all. We don't know much more about Benny. Benny is on the weight gain program. He entered the shelter emaciated and stressed. The shelter aged him at 10 months old. Our vet aged him at 1.5 to 2 yrs old so we are listing him at 1.5 yrs old. Benny likes treats and his foster will make sure he gets good groceries. Please check back with us as he settles into his foster home. Benny is being fostered with a male Lab.
