Foster Update - Just wanted to give an update on Capri. I've had her for a little over two weeks and i'm happy to say she has definitely made some big improvements! Healthwise she is doing much better! Her skin condition has improved and fur is starting to grow back:) Hoping to get a clean bill of health in a couple weeks so we can schedule her spay appointment! Here's some things I have noticed about her: - Personality: Capri is very sweet, lovable, and an extremely happy dog who loves to snuggle and be close to her human:) She shows no aggression towards other dogs, and seems to get along with all of them. - Food aggression: doesn't appear to have any food aggression, however, working with her on keeping a distance near human food, as she will steal it right off your plate if low enough! She does not jump up on counters though. - Commandments and training: Capri knows how to sit, lay down, stay and come. I've been teaching her the doggie door, which she understands coming inside, but going outside to the dog run has been a little more challenging. For the most part, she is potty trained. Had a couple of accidents inside when I first got her, but hasn't had any since. She prefers to urinate on concrete, but I've been trying to get her to go on the grass in the dog run which she's starting to understand. She walks well, pulling at first to sniff, but then pulls less as we continue on the walk.
