Introduction - A retiring, reputable breeder has entrusted Labrador Rescuers with beautiful purebred AKC English Labradors to find their forever homes. Friendly, engaging and sociable, this dog will make a wonderful pet to any home committed to their training. They will need basic training skills, but know some commands. Rides quietly in the car, gives sweet kisses and is eager to please. Walking on a leash is new to this pup and leash training is necessary. This dog comes with their AKC registration form. Please check back for updates as we learn more about their personality from their foster home. Foster Update - Although we were told Paige was not housebroken, she has not had a single accident in the house! She does not jump on people (she is a little shy meeting new people but treats warm her up!). She takes treats gently and eats slowly. She walks very well on the leash, albeit a bit slow. I think she would prefer to stop, smell the smells and admire the scenery rather than go for a walk. She is good with cats and has met several dogs on our walks and isn't really interested beyond a quick sniff. She likes watching the birds at the park but doesn't seem to want to chase them or bother them at all. She is kennel trained and will go into her kennel willingly (at first it was a struggle but now it is no problem). She is learning the command "sit". She is eager to please and if you call her and motion for her to come, she will come.
