Foster Update - Sammie is a very curious puppy that explores her world through her mouth with a very adorable gnaw on the new things. Easily redirected with a “leave it” or “drop” command. She has lots of energy and is learning everything in this world that is new and exciting. She plays tirelessly with a 10 year old and 4 year old, often wearing them out long before she is done. She has enjoyed walks and is working on her leash handling skills (she really wants to be in charge). Sammie has surprised us, just two days in, being comfortable with the doggy door and getting herself outside for potty breaks about 75% of the time. She is working on commands for “sit” and “off” because she always wants to be close, often jumping to get as close as she can. Typical puppy stuff is to be expected with a pup so young but she has been very impressive with how quickly she is learning. She has taken our family by storm and we have all fallen in love with her and we have no doubt she will make her forever family swoon the same way we do. Recommend lots of chew toys, bully sticks, and rope toys for this pup!
