Reba was just returned to Lab Rescuers due to an illness in the adopter’s family. She is still very young and active and is enjoying playing with the dogs at her foster home. Please check back for updates as we get to know a little more about her.
Previously....... Foster Update - Reba arrived at our home a scared puppy after her shelter experience. She is a work in progress, but it is positive progress. Here are the updates: 1) Appetite is getting better and she is learning to eat from a bowl but she is not food motivated. Unlike other puppies, she does not try to eat our dog's food. 2) House training. Reba scores an "A" in this category. Minimum accidents in the house, a couple minor accidents in her crate, a very tidy girl. 3) Interactions. She wants to be near us and our kids but at a safe distance. She is slowly getting used to our dogs and is learning how to play. 4) Leash. Reba was terrified at first but she is getting better now and letting us take her out for walks. She does not pull the leash; rather she likes to walk behind us most of the time. 5) Energy level. Reba is a low-to-mid energy level puppy. She does not do zoomies in our yard. 6) Car ride. She is not a fan of car rides but hopefully will improve with time and familiarity. In time, we think Reba will be a sweet addition to any family, but her forever family will need to be patient with her. Introduction - Reba was found with her sister Wynonna. Both girls are very sweet and smart. No issues with riding in car. They like affection and other dogs. They are available for adoption separately. Please check back with us as we learn more about them from their fosters.
