Foster Update - Jasper loves his humans and will follow you around like a 5 o'clock shadow. Once he sees where you are, he is confident enough and will move onto another room. Jasper loves to snuggle, a full on spooning boy. If you allow him to, he will join you in bed otherwise he sleeps next to you on his dog bed. Jasper loves his tug time but watch your fingers when he chokes up on the rope. He enjoys a good game of fetch but is not a good catcher which makes for a fun game full of laughter. He loves his daily walks. He likes his toys and will prance around with them to show them off. In his former home Jasper was left outside alone during the day and would jump the fence, he has made no attempt to jump any fences in his foster home, so his forever home should be someone who is home more than away and with indoor access when alone. Some family is going to be very lucky to adopt this wonderful and loving boy.

Introduction - Jasper is a very sweet loving boy. He has been living with two Chihuahua mixes this past year and has no issues with small dogs. Things his former owner told us about Jasper: He loves to swim, likes to play fetch in the yard, not a digger, loves long walks, knows how to use a doggie door, loves car rides, loves plushies but not a plushie murderer, loves carrots, takes treats gently, hides from the vacuum, never had table scraps and won't beg while you eat. He has been around kids. Older kids recommended as he loves to run zoomies and may knock a little over if they step in his path by accident. When Jasper is at a dog park, he loves to smell everything first then he will play bow to a nice gentle dog to go run with.

We met Jasper at a very busy dog park today. He met more dogs than we can count. He was great on leash and off leash. When he was swarmed by many dogs he froze and slowly moved away. He connected with a few after he sniffed everything and ran and played with him. Jasper also met many people and did not hesitate to greet them and look for pets. He did not jump up on anyone he met. He is polite, if you hold up your hand like to stop, he knows to wait. Jasper loves to be loved. He will let you pet him all over and give him kisses. Jasper is really nice, sweet boy. He prefers someone who is home more than not. When home alone, Jasper should be inside as he will go look for his humans. Jasper has settled right into his foster home without any issues. He is being fostered with a large lab mix.
