Foster Update:
Brownie is doing well in his foster home with an older Lab and a Husky and five cats. He walks well on leash but sometimes jumps up on people he meets. He rides well in the car and gets along well with other dogs. He is a happy boy who sleeps through the night. He is mostly housebroken and will sit by the door when he needs to go out. He knows sit and shake. We are working on stay, taking treats gently, and come when he's called. He has a lot of energy and will chase the cats but no aggression, he just wants to play with them. Brownie will do best in a home with minimal alone time, a large yard and a dog buddy to teach him the ropes and play with him. Like most Labs he is very food driven so should be easy to train. This energetic boy will be a great addition to an active home ready for puppy antics and committed to training.
Introduction:
Please welcome Brownie! Who can say no to the chocolate, especially when it comes with 4 huge paws and 2 big puppy eyes! Brownie was picked up as a stray and surprisingly, no one came to claim him. Brownie seems to be a healthy, happy, and friendly puppy. He also has his puppy energy like all the puppies do. He would love to go to a home where his future people will be teaching him manners and spending a lot of quality time together. Brownie is quite new to the rescue, please check back for updates.
