Foster Update: Tucker is a delight and total love bug. We walk 3 miles daily with our female Husky, he pulled initially but settled down after a bit. He has been cuddling with me and rarely leaves my side. He seems to like women more than men, but is friendly with all. He is curious about the cats, and appears to want to make friends. No counter surfing and takes treats nicely. He rides well in the car. He enjoys sleeping with his human and is super snuggly. Tucker will make a great addition to a loving home with another dog buddy. Vacation Foster Update: Tucker is a gentle 4-year old "Red Fox" Lab with a gorgeous and soft auburn coat. He has good manners with humans and is housetrained. While he loves running around playing chase with our dog, he is also quite mellow and enjoys lounging near you when inside the house. Especially as the weather turns cooler in the winter, I can imagine lots of cuddles with Tucker as he is super friendly and loves to chill with his person. Tucker would benefit from some leash training as he sometimes pulls on walks, but is very responsive to verbal cues and food motivated. Training bonus is that Tucker is extremely gentle when he takes treats - what a sweet boy! He would be particularly great for someone who has a nice sized fenced yard for him to explore and run around without a leash. Not only is Tucker very good with other dogs, he is also good with children and older adults. Another plus is that Tucker is keen to give a couple warning barks if he senses an issue outside, which is comforting for those who want to be alerted when someone is approaching your home. However, on the whole he is a peaceful sweet dog who rarely barks. At 4 years old, Tucker is a well-trained, very healthy dog with great happy energy, and will bring his forever family years of joy! Introduction: Welcome Tucker! Tucker is a big, friendly boy who loves playing ball and affection. Tucker knows how to sit and take treats nicely. He loves children, but unsure yet about cats. He has shown no interest in the swimming pool where he is being fostered but is just settling down and may decide to go for a swim in the future. Tucker came into the rescue with Pup #5761, and although they are not a bonded pair, they would love a forever home together. Tucker is Pup's birth father, so they have been together since Pup was born. Please check for updates in the near future as his foster family is just getting to know him.
