Foster Update: Ollie is sweet and loves affection. He loves his people and like a good Lab will follow you everywhere. He is a cuddle bug and loves to sleep in the bed with his people, until he gets hot and jumps down. Ollie loves to play fetch, dog balls only as he carries them around. He is potty trained and knows sit, down, off, potty, outside and walk. Ollie meets other dogs without issues, however he is strong on lead and needs work on his leash skills. He can verbalize excitement when meeting new people and will occasionally bark at a new man in the home but will settle with treats and giving him space to approach you. He rides great in the car but needs a car leash. He is not a swimmer but tolerates baths. Ollie's furever home would be with a family who has minimal alone time and a dog buddy in the home to hang out with to feel safe.

Introduction: Meet Ollie he was born on 12/17/2018. He has a beautiful dark chocolate coat color. This boy LOVES to play fetch. Ollie is very sweet and loves affection. His former family shared videos of him at the dog park with small dogs and he was fine. They shared he will chase a cat in the yard but is easily redirected. Unknown how he would be in a home with cats. He grew up with another lab and young kids. Ollie takes treats enthusiastically and would do best in a home with older kids. He tolerates a bath. Shows no interest in a kids pool. Ollie gets super excited to go for walks. He is "strong" on lead. His former owner trusted him off lead. His leash skills are out of practice. When the leash comes out he lets you know he is ready. He will bark out of excitement to meet new people and dogs. Once he meets them the barking stops. Ollie rides great in the car. He would be a dog that would love to go for hike or an adventure. He has the stamina to do it. He does settle in the home. He will sleep on a dog bed, open crate or your bed if you let him. He met 4 people and 4 dogs during his evaluation and was a good boy. Please check back with us as we learn more about Ollie.
