In addition to the adoption fee of $500, I will require a training deposit of $150 which is fully refundable upon completion of a training course.
Foster Update:
Stormy’s rehabilitation is complete and she is ready to find her forever home. Her recovery went well and there is no apparent loss of function in her leg. We have learned a few additional things about Stormy. She loves to goes for walks. She handles stairs easily. She is good with other dogs but is selective as to who she plays with. She is a bit of a grazer and likes to eat grass and other tidbits she finds on the ground. She is mildly reactive, in a non-aggressive way, to other dogs and people we meet on walks. She loves to meet and greet everybody. She sleeps through the night. She is not a barker. She does not seem to have any separation anxiety. She jumps occasionally when she’s excited. Overall, Stormy is a medium energy, reasonably mellow dog who will be happy to either lie around the house with you or accompany you on your next adventure.
Foster Update:
Stormy's TPLO procedure is now behind her. She has begun her recovery and is being a truly excellent patient. Due to her restricted activity during recovery, we don't know everything about Stormy yet. There may still be a few revelations once her rehabilitation is complete. However, we are confident in what we do know so far:
• Housebroken
• Crate trained
• Gets along great with other dogs
• Loves car rides and rides well
• Food motivated which will help with training
• A little on the small side, only about 21" tall
• Mildly Velcro but does not seem to have any SA
• Medium energy level
• Pretty good on a leash
Update: Stormy has been diagnosed with a cruciate tear and is scheduled for TPLO surgery on 8/8. She will be available for adoption after rehab, likely mid October.

Stormy is a healthy happy girl who gets excited when she meets new dogs, wants to play, but corrects easily. She rides quietly in the car, walks well on leash and sleeps all night on her bed. Stormy is friendly with people and other dogs, she lived with children ages 3-9 and a cat in her prior home.
