Foster Update #2: Kosmos is your typical young Lab with lots of energy, the need to explore and eat, and he loves people. I live on a large acreage property and when he ventures off he returns when I call him or whistle. He listens to commands and is eager to learn new ones (with food of course). He is potty trained and goes to the bathroom pretty much every time I take him out, or if he is ready to do his business he stands by the door. He can be a bit mouthy when playing, but he stops when I say "no bite", he is getting much better. He pulls some on leash but does well with a Halti type headcollar. He is protective of his food around other dogs so would do best as an only dog. He sleeps through the night without issue and loves to take a nap after a long play. Foster Update #1: Kosmos has been a fun dog to care for, he sleeps through the night, comes to me off leash by calling his name, goes to the bathroom outside consistently and eats on cue like a typical Lab. He is not a fan of smaller yappy dogs and would do best in a home where he is the only resident dog. Meet Kosmos, a new addition to Labrador Rescuers. He previously lived with a senior dog and children ages 5-18. He is reportedly crate trained and housebroken. He is strong on leash so needs some work on his leash skills. He is looking for an active home who will love on him the rest of his life.
