Foster Update: Pumpkin is a very sweet girl. She was so good following her spay. Didn't bother with her incision at all. She is house trained, walks well on leash, is not a barker, sleeps through the night by our bed. No chewing. She is great with our dogs and seemingly oblivious to our cat. She takes treats gently, though occasionally tries to take one of the other dogs treats, but takes correction very well. She understands NO and stops whatever behavior she is being corrected on. She got on well with our neighbors kids. On the down side - she can be a counter surfer (as the missing cupcakes ?? demonstrated), and is a bit of a velcro dog. In fact quite a velcro dog, especially toward her foster dad. If he's out she'll whimper as she searches for him and has gone into the laundry basket to take a piece of his clothing to lie on. But overall she's a star.

Intro: Pumpkin is a people friendly, dog friendly lab that was rescued from a crowded shelter. First up in her foster home was a nice bath, which she enjoyed immensely. Pumpkin has clearly had some litters in the past but those days are behind her. She is now spayed and ready to begin her new life as a valued family pet. Pumpkin gets along well with the fosters’ kitty too!
