Foster Update - 1. He is housebroken and crate trained. Sleeps through the night in his crate in our bedroom. 2. Loves his meals, no issues with taking medication either. If you pop the pills with his kibble, he will eat it all. Enjoys eating fruits too. 3. Has a lot of energy, we took him for a 7 mile hike and he did great. Biscuit does want to meet other dogs and will lunge to do so. There is no aggression, he just wants to meet the other dogs and play. We had instances where the trail was barely 3 to 4 feet and there was another dog approaching. He does not get fixated on the other dogs once they pass and is happy to continue hiking. He came home and ran zoomies and then slept for a few hours. He wasn't exhausted or tired, but I would say he settled down after the hike. 4. He will beg for food during meal times, I don't think he understands the word no. So we have been pushing him away physically and he then goes and lays on his bed. 5. I introduced him to a labradoodle this morning and he did great, he actually waited for the other dog to reach us and they both played. 6. He will alert bark if he hears something outside. 7. Jumps once or twice when he is super excited, but nothing crazy. 8. He is a good jogging partner and does not zig zag. He matches our pace. Also not an over sniffer during walks. 9. Enjoys playing fetch and tug-of-war. 10. He will grab slippers, shows, socks etc in his mouth if he is not getting attention, but does not destroy it. 11. Rides well in the car. Jumps into the car happily. Introduction - Biscuit, fka Simba, is a stunningly handsome young Lab/Golden Retriever fusion looking for an active home. He is a friendly, high energy guy who would love to have another playful dog companion in his forever home.
